Berkshire Community Action Council (BCAC) is requesting contractors who perform asbestos abatement, electrical services, and mold abatement, as well as contractors who perform weatherization services, including insulating existing homes utilizing blown-in cellulose in attics and walls, the installation of fiberglass batts in basement and crawl space ceilings if appropriate, insuring proper ventilation in attics, weather-stripping exterior doors if warranted, and the installation of other related weatherization measures, to provide proposals for its low-income Weatherization Assistance Program. Completed proposals must be received by 3PM on June 24, 2024 at which time they will be opened. All proposals are subject to negotiation.
