Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 149A, Williamstown Fire Department (WFD) is initiating a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Filed Sub-Bid for the construction of a new $17.5M fire station on Main Street in Williamstown, MA. The project was previously bid but was over budget. The documents have been adjusted to reduce costs. Only Filed Sub Bidders who are prequalified by WFD will be invited to and eligible to submit bids for the Building Project. The file sub trades that Statemenets of Qualifications is being requested for are: Glass & Glazing, Metal Windows, Painting, Acoustic Tile, Roofing and Flashing Masonry, Misc Metals, Resilient Flooring, Tile, Elevators, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical. The submission deadline for Submittal of Qualifications (SOQ) application packages in response to the RFQ is Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm. The RFQ will be available via BidDocs.com and all submissions will be electronic via the BidDocs Oline.
