NOTICE OF TAX SALE The resident and non-resident owners, lienholders, and mortgagees of property in the Town of Stamford, in the County of Bennington and State of Vermont, are hereby notified that the taxes assessed by such Town for the municipal tax years beginning January 1, 2021, January 1, 2022, and January 1, 2023, and for school district taxes for the fiscal years beginning July 1, 2021, July 1, 2022, and July 1, 2023, remain, either in whole or in part, unpaid on the following described property in such Town, to wit: It being a ten acre parcel in the southeast corner of Lot 95, Second Division, conveyed to Margaret C. Costine (who died on August 21, 1977) and Robert A. Costine (who died on December 7, 1973), husband and wife, by Warranty Deed of Gladys Farron and Robert Farron, dated and recorded on November 2, 1966 in Book 28 at Page 446 of the Stamford Land Records, described therein as "being the same conveyed by Willard and Candis Hill to Lorenzo Whitney, deed bearing date May 9, 1860." (Parcel #0SH100104L.001) And pursuant to 32 V.S.A. 5254, such property will be sold at public auction at the Stamford Town Office, a public place located on Main Road in the Town of Stamford, on the 20th day of March, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., as shall be requisite to discharge such taxes with costs, unless previously paid.
