PUBLIC NOTICE Town of Lenox Request for Proposals (RFP 26-01) - Consultant Services for Personnel Classification and Compensation Study The Town of Lenox is requesting proposals for consultant services to create a personnel classification and compensation plan to ensure that compensation for all positions are internally equitable, regionally competitive and compensates employees using fair and relevant criteria for retention and recruitment. Copies of the detailed Request for Proposals may be obtained by contacting Human Resources Director Lindsay Patenaude (Lpatenaude@townoflenox.com). Interested and qualified firms shall submit proposals to Jay Green, Town Manager at Lenox Town Hall, 6 Walker Street, Lenox, MA 01240 by Thursday, February 26th at 12 noon. Minimum qualifications are: have five (5) years of experience in developing and recommending salary structures, reviewing and developing position descriptions, conducting comparable salary surveys, and recommending placement of positions within the salary structure and have completed at least five (5) classification and compensation studies for municipalities in Massachusetts including projects of similar scale and scope; and evidence of suitable insurance coverage for such services. Selection criteria are included in the detailed Request for Proposals. Respondents must comply with all applicable civil rights and employment opportunity laws.
