Notice is hereby given that the North Adams City Council, acting as the local licensing authority, will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 7:00 P.M., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 10 Main Street, North Adams, Massachusetts, upon an application for a new flammable storage license pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 148, Section 13. The application is for property located at: 100 Phelps Avenue, North Adams, Massachusetts Greylock Elementary School The applicant seeks authorization for the storage of a maximum aggregate quantity of 6,000 gallons of LP-gas (propane) in six (6) 1,000-gallon aboveground storage tanks at the property. The application has been endorsed with the approval of the Head of the North Adams Fire Department. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing.
