Berkshire Metropolitan Planning Organization PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT The Berkshire MPO is seeking public comment on the following: 2022-2026 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment- An amendment (3rd amendment) has been proposed to the TIP for the following projects: 1) 609464 - Gt. Barrington, resurfacing Route 23/183; add new project, $2,690,763 2) 611955 - Pittsfield, Superstructure replacement, Holmes Road over Housatonic River, increase cost to $3,470,391 3) 608813 - Lanesborough, resurfacing of Route 7, move project to FFY 2023, $-4,344,611 and 4) 612593 - Lanesborough, pavement preservation on Route 7, add new project, $5,118,813. 2023-2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) - The TIP is a prioritized, multi-year program for the implementation of federally funded transportation projects in Berkshire County. Highway, bridge, transportation enhancement and transit improvement projects must be listed in the TIP to be eligible for federal funding. Copies of the TIP and amendments can be obtained by: 1.
