LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF NORTH ADAMS INVITATION TO BID Bid # NA-2026-010 The City of North Adams invites sealed bids for Contract No. NA-2026-010 for the construction of six (6)-unit T-hangars at Harriman-and-West Airport, in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., Albany, NY. Bidding shall be in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 149, Sections 44A-44J, and Chapter 30, Section 39M, as amended. The estimated construction cost is $1,000,000. General Bidders must be DCAMM-certified in General Building Construction. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 44A(2), as amended. The work includes site preparation; construction of a six (6)-unit pre-engineered metal T-hangar building; concrete foundation and slab; electrical service; site restoration; and all incidental work. Replacement of the existing City hangars' metal roof is included as an additive alternate. Work shall be completed within 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Filed sub-bids have been verified and will be distributed via addendum with the bid package. General bids will be received by the Office of Procurement, Room 201, City Hall, 10 Main Street, North Adams, MA 01247, until 10:00 A.M. (EST) on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, and will be publicly opened thereafter in Conference Room 202.
