NOTICE OF MORTGAGEE'S SALE OF REAL ESTATE Premises: 75 Alford Road, Great Barrington, MA 01230 By virtue and in execution of the Power of Sale contained in a certain mortgage given by Gail M. Murray to Countrywide Bank, FSB, and now held by Bank of America, N.A. s/b/m Countrywide Bank, N.A. f/k/a Countrywide Bank, FSB, said mortgage dated March 21, 2008 and recorded in the Berkshire County (Southern District) Registry of Deeds in Book 1832, Page 236, for breach of the conditions in said mortgage and for the purpose of foreclosing the same will be sold at Public Auction on November 4, 2021 at 02:00 PM Local Time upon the premises, all and singular the premises described in said mortgage, to wit: The land situated in Great Barrington, Berkshire County, bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pipe set in a stone wall in the westerly line of the aforesaid Alford Road, said iron pipe being North 4 degrees 28 minutes 27 seconds West 28.40 feet from a highway bound in the aforesaid westerly line of said roadway; thence along land of Elizabeth B. Hall South 87 degrees 44 minutes 11 seconds West 184.77 feet to a stone bound at a corner of walls, and North 78 degrees 55 minutes 28 seconds West 20.00 feet to an iron pipe, and North 24 degrees 01 minutes 52 seconds West 354.65 feet to an iron pipe, and North 82 degrees 51 minutes 00 seconds East 215.92 feet to a stone bound, and North 47 degrees 01 minutes 46 seconds East 121.93 feet to an iron pipe in the aforesaid westerly line of said roadway; thence in said road line South 13 degrees 55 minutes 04 seconds East 125.00 feet, and South 1 degree 53 minutes 32 seconds East 199.79 feet, and South 4 degrees 28 minutes 27 seconds East 109.76 feet to the point of beginning, containing 2.23 acres of land. Reference is made to a plan of the land herein described, prepared from a 1974 field survey by Henry D. Granger, RLS, d/b/a Kelly & Granger, Engineers and Surveyors of Great Barrington, Massachusetts and filed in Map File #85 at the Southern Berkshire Registry of Deeds in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Subject to any and all limitations of use imposed by governmental authority and to taxes of the Town of Great Barrington. For Mortgagor's title see Deed recorded in Book 529, Page 148. The description of the property contained in the mortgage shall control in the event of a typographical error in this publication.
