Invitation for Bids Town of Peru Paving Berkshire Regional Planning Commission on behalf of the Town of Peru is inviting bids from approved contractors approved by MA DOT for paving for Curtain Road and August Smith Road. Project construction dates will be 9/16/24 - 10/4/24. Bid packages are available Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at BRPC's OpenGov online procurement portal found at: https://procurement.opengov.com/ portal/berkshire-planning. Bids will be submitted through the online procurement portal no later than Monday, May 6, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Bids will then be opened publicly and read aloud. The Town of Peru is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. All bids for services are subject to the prevailing wage rates as per Mass. General Laws Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27F inclusive and Chapter 30, Section 39M, and a 5% bid deposit is required, in the form of a bid bond or certified check, unless specified in the bid package. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Pavement - Surfacing for the project with an estimated value of $572,022.00 will be required.
