CITY OF PITTSFIELD NOTICE OF ZONING AMENDMENT PUBLIC HEARINGS PITTSFIELD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BOARD AND PITTSFIELD CITY COUNCIL The City of Pittsfield in accordance with the provision of M.G.L Chapter 40A, Section 5, as amended, hereby gives notice to all interested parties that public hearings will be held on a petition to amend Chapter 23 Section 4.331 of the Pittsfield City Code, by replacing Paragraph E as proposed to remove the Community Development Board as Special Permit Granting Authority and replace it with the Pittsfield City Council, and to rename references to the Planning Board with Community Development Board. The first required public hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers at Pittsfield City Hall on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 6:00 PM by the Community Development Board and conducted through the Zoom Platform - access information can be found on the posted agenda or by contacting tkozlowski@cityofpittsfield.org. The second required public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 6:00 PM by the City Council, in the City Council Chambers at Pittsfield City Hall. The application is on file with the Department of Community Development Office, Room 205, City Hall, and may be viewed during regular hours (Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).
